The Ariosa DOT in Operation
Intelligent Ventilation and Heat Recovery
The Ariosa DOT is a dual-flow mechanical ventilation system designed to continuously renew indoor air while improving energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
Fresh external air is drawn through the unit through a dedicated intake duct and passes through a high-capacity filter, which removes smog, dust, pollen, and other unwanted substances before the air enters the room.
As it passes through the recovery unit, the heat from the internal higher-temperature air flow is transferred to the external lower-temperature air flow, thus improving the efficiency and sustainability of the room's air renewal system.
Continuous Extraction of Polluted Indoor Air
A second fan simultaneously extracts internal room air saturated with:
- Excess moisture and humidity
- Carbon dioxide (CO₂)
- Volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
- Airborne pollutants
- Other unwanted contaminants
After passing through the filtration and heat exchange process, this exhaust air is safely expelled outside, helping to maintain a healthier indoor environment while supporting continuous air renewal.

Fans
The electronic fans make it possible to regulate the intake and outlet airflows with maximum precision, in order to maintain the unit's efficiency unaltered under any conditions, without sacrificing on acoustic comfort.
Bypass
The bypass function is electronically operated, automatically monitoring the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity conditions in order to ensure maximum thermal comfort.
Recovery Unit
Available in the sensible or enthalpic version, this unit ensures excellent energy efficiency performance while at the same time limiting consumption.
Filters
The standard ISO Coarse and ISO ePM filters eliminate dust, pollen, smog, and many other potentially harmful substances, such as viruses, bacteria, allergens, spores, and particulates.
The Display
Ariosa DOT features a colour LCD touchscreen display, which can be remotely controlled and allows you to manage all the machine's functions and set daily and weekly operating programmes. It also allows you to connect the machine to the network via a WiFi module for control via a mobile app.
